In The Medicine Way, we walk together through the sacred four directions, emerging stronger and more deeply connected to the universe. Each direction builds upon the knowledge and experience of the prior, culminating in our unique 5th weekend where we integrate ancient and modern knowledge to create a truly powerful 21st century shamanic experience. Along the way you will build your shaman's mesa, practice numerous healing forms, and receive powerful initiations including the Rites of the Munay-Ki, bringing you into right relationship with self, community, and spirit. These are our foundational teachings, the owner's manual for life that no one ever told you about. Students successfully completing The Medicine Way are full mesa carriers, initiated shamans, and prepared for advanced study in shamanic healing.
Available courses
A transformative introduction to death and dying, this weekend prepares the shamanic practitioner to provide support and counseling for those preparing for transition. In our modern Western culture, death is something to be feared. We dispel this myth and approach end-of-life issues with courage and openness. We explore issues of family, other traditions, and societal norms. We delve into pyschopomp and how to effectively transition the earthbound out of this realm. Lastly, we look into our own views and roles around death and make certain we are properly prepared for our own eventual transition.

Physical, emotional, or energetic trauma can lead to soul loss. We practice techniques for soul reintegration with an emphasis on creating permanent, lasting, compassionate solutions. We cover methods of identifying soul loss, finding soul parts, negotiating successful reintegrations, and essential after-care.

Illumination is the process of diagnosis and the catalyst for healing in energy medicine. We use Illumination to identify and heal physical, emotional, and energetic traumas. Illumination shines light on imperfections and negative imprints in the Luminous Energy Field, engages powerful, natural methods of healing, enables the extraction of negative energies, and brings us back into proper balance and robust health.

If you are new to shamanism, or haven't had much formal training, Stepping Stones is the place to start. We carefully and thoroughly introduce all of the essential practices of modern shamanism. Stepping Stones prepares you to live more shamanically while giving you the necessary background for further study. Prerequisite: None.
